Currently studying for a Master's degree in pedagogy at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Lausanne, Théo Bittel started playing the accordion at the age of 10. He is a student of Thierry Bouclier and Dimitri Bouclier at the school of Annemasse and Genevois in Haute Savoie. He also followed numerous training courses with Mr. Mornet and Nathalie Boucheix at the Cnima.

Théo participated in many national and international competitions (FAIV, Klingenthal, Castelfidardo, the World Cup, the World Trophy) and placed 2nd in the "junior classical" category at the World Trophy competition in 2018 in Victoria, Canada.
